Alamos Gold is a TSX30 winner.

The annual ranking recognizes the top 30 performing stocks on the Toronto Stock Exchange based on their dividend-adjusted share price performance over a three-year period. The Toronto-based company’s share price has increased 134 per cent over that time, a release says.

Given our strong outlook supported by growing gold production and declining costs, we expect this track record of success to continue well into the future,” said president and chief executive officer John McCluskey.

The intermediate gold producer announced several personnel appointments on Tuesday.

Tony Giardini, president and CEO of Trilogy Metals, has joined Alamos Gold’s board of directors.

His deep understanding of the mining industry, coupled with his extensive financial expertise, makes him an excellent addition to our board,” said Giardini.

Scott Parsons is senior vice-president, corporate development and investor relations. The 11-year Alamos employee was most recently senior vice-president of investor relations.

Khalid Elhaj, former vice-president of business strategy, is now vice-president of business development and investor relations.

Alamos Gold (TSX: AGI) closed at $24.55 on Monday. The company’s shares have ranged from $14.80 to $27.57 during the past 52 weeks.
